There are extensive notes on the margins of the sheet, including notes about Podocnemis unifilis and Chelonia mydas, despite the fact that neither of these species appear on the stamps or anywhere on the sheet. The species appearing on this sheet are Geochelone carbonaria and Podocnemis expansa. The Scott number (#1471) appearing here is actually the number of the block of four. Scott does not list the sheet of eight herein described. |
